Robbed

KARACHI, Oct 21 Three staffers of Dawn were robbed by armed men on Tuesday night.

Mohammad Khalil, Anzar Ahmed and Mohammad Ashfaq left the office at 1030pm to have dinner when three armed robbers intercepted them near Shaheen Complex traffic intersection, which was guarded by two police mobiles. The robbers armed with pistols deprived the staffers of their mobile phones and cash and fled.

Arrested

Police arrested four suspects who were allegedly involved in a looting spree in the Mobina Town police limits.

Police claimed to have arrested Tahir Husain, Mehmood Ahmed, Haris and Faraz Usman and recovered a TT pistol and over a dozen cellphones from their possession.
