KARACHI, Sept 7 A number of senior leaders of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement have been summoned to London by party chief Altaf Hussain.

MQM sources said Dr Farooq Sattar, Anis Qaimkhani, Babar Ghauri, Mustafa Kamal and Waseem Aftab were among those who left for London on Tuesday.

While the agenda of an unscheduled urgent meeting was not known, the sources said that organisational matters and issues relating to MQM's media policy might come under discussion.
