FC arrests 180 Afghan suspects

QUETTA One hundred and eighty suspected Afghan nationals have been arrested in Chaman, Qila- Abdullah and Chaghi areas of Balochistan by the Frontier Corps on Tuesday.
FC officials told that among the arrested, 45 are from Chaman and 100 from Qila Abdullah have been captured. They entered into Pakistan illegally without any travel documents.
Among the arrested 65 were Afghan Pushtoons while the remaining were Tajiks and Uzbek Afghans. Twenty-three Afghans were captured from Chaghi and Dal-bandeen area.
FC officials further told that patrolling in border areas have been enhanced and FC posts have also been established at the distance of every three km.
Orders have also been given to shoot at sight those who try to cross border. No weapons have been recovered but a number of maps of different cities of Balochistan and seminaries have been found in the possession of the arrested Afghans. Secret Agencies have started interrogating them.
