Bajaur missile attack kills two

KHAR Two people were killed and ten others injured when four missiles were fired on regional headquarter Khar with some intervals on Thursday.
The political administration confirmed the killing of two civilians, while 10 others were injured in the missile attack by suspected Taliban militants in Khar and its adjoining areas. The missiles were fired from Kawsar Banda, and Neyag, some ten kilometers northwest of Khar, and the mountainous areas of Kohi Mor and Maram Ghundai, some twelve kilometers southwest of Khar.
The injured were rushed to district headquarter hospital Khar. One of the missiles landed on the premises of the Fata Rural Development Project.
A tribal jirga was underway in headquarter Khar when the missile attack took place.
The jirga between the agency administration and the elders of Mamond tribe was held at civil colony Khar. It discussed the overall situation in the area.
The political demonstration has called upon the tribesmen to fulfill their collective territorial responsibility and hand over suspected people to the administration.
The elders were also told to take action against militants involved in anti-state and anti-government activities. Otherwise, the administration has warned to target areas from where the militants were attacking security forces installations and the civilian population.
