RAWALPINDI, April 7: One person was electrocuted while another boy was killed after being run over by a train in Gangmandi area, police said on Monday.

Mohammad Khalid, father of four and a part-time painter, was electrocuted after he fell on a high tension electric wires passing near by a house where he had been working.

Mohammad Imran, the brother of the deceased told the RA Bazaar police that he does not want to lodge an FIR as it was an accidental death.

In another incident, Ansir Mehmood, 17, was run over by a train in Gangmandi area late on Sunday night, police said.

The police said, Mehmood was crossing the rail track when a passenger train hit him. He died on the spot.

Meanwhie, four vehicles were either snatched or stolen from different part of Rawalpindi and Islamabad on Monday, police said.

Wasimuz Zaman’s car (GLT-8402) was lifted from Satellite Town while, a yellow cab (IDK-3037) was also stolen from the jurisdiction of New Town police.

Likewise, three unidentified robbers snatched a car (RIY- 6630) from its owner at gunpoint in Westridge on Monday and escaped. While, a jeep was stolen from Karachi Company in the jurisdiction of Margalla police.

A Reporter ADDS: The accused in the G-7 family murder case, Mohammad Nawaz, has denied that he had killed seven members of his family.

Nawaz recorded his statement with the court of the district and sessions judge, Chaudhry Asad Raza, on Monday.

He has been charged of killing seven members of his family at his residence in G-7 sector.
