PESHAWAR A jihadi group announced on Wednesday that top Al Qaeda operative Osama bin Ali bin Abdullah bin Damjan Al-Dawsari had been killed in a drone attack in Nezai Narray near Angoor Adda in South Waziristan.

Al-Fajr Media Centre, run by a jihadi group, had earlier reported the death of Al Qaeda's third-ranking leader Mustafa Abu Al-Yazid in a drone attack in Laand Mohammadkhel area of North Waziristan on May 18.

Dawsari was reportedly killed when he was attending a meeting in the house of Omar Khaitab, a close associate of militant commander Maulvi Nazir.
