Student recovered

PESHAWAR, April 29: Police have recovered a student and arrested three members of a gang of kidnapers.

A police spokesman said on Monday a student of BBA Khalid Jamal had been kidnapped from Khan Hostel Peshawar on March 28, 2013 and later the kidnapers demanded Rs12 million for his release as ransom.

The police following some tip-off conducted a raid at a plaza near Abaseen Flour Mills and recovered the student safely. Three accused, including Ahmad Ullah of Bajuar Agency, Hameedullah of Mohmand Agency and Sikandar Shah of Tarkha village, were arrested. — Bureau Report
