LAHORE, April 25: An accountability court on Thursday sentenced a former civil judge to seven years in jail on charges of defrauding public on account of residential plots in Punjab Officers Housing Society.
The National Accountability Bureau had made a reference in 2009 against Tariq Masood after 69 buyers of plots filed complaints against him.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs5.5 million on Tariq Masood.
