ISLAMABAD, July 16: Pakistan is facing serious difficulties in the deportation of over 300 foreign militants of Arab, Central Asian Republics and Chechneyan origin, Dawn has reliably learnt.

The investigation by the Pakistan authorities and the American Federal Bureau of Investigation against most of these militants had been completed and the government wanted to deport them to their respective countries, a highly placed source said here on Tuesday.

However, in almost all cases, the governments of the countries of the militants’ origin were not willing to accept them, the source said. The sources refused to give the country-wide break-up of these militants.
