Mustafa Sadiq grieved

LAHORE, March 26: The wife of Mustafa Sadiq, chief editor of daily Wafaq and a former president of the APNS, died after protracted illness here on Tuesday.

The funeral procession will be taken out from 609-N Samanabad, on Wednesday (today) at 9am. The funeral prayers will be offered at Masjid Ashaab-i-Safa ground, adjacent to the house.

Recently, some of Mr Sadiq’s family members met road accident near Hafizabad while on way to Lahore from Rawalpindi.

Mr Sadiq’s son Abrar, who was also injured in the road accident, suffered a stroke shortly before being shifted to the operation theatre at Sheikh Zayed Hospital here on March 7.

The All Pakistan Newspaper Society has expressed deep sense of grief and sorrow over the death of Mustafa Sadiq’s wife.

In a statement, APNS Secretary-General Qazi Asad Abid on behalf of the society prayed to God to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and solace to the members of the bereaved family.
