Sub-inspector deprived of car

KASUR, Dec 10: A sub-inspector was deprived of car reportedly by four dacoits near Ada Dina Nath, Phool Nagar, on Monday.

SI Abdul Majid of the Okara police was going to Lahore by a car (MNX-6324) when he was intercepted by four armed men near Dina Nath. The interceptors snatched the car from him and fled.

Fatal crash: Two jeep riders were killed in a road accident on the Lahore-Kasur Road near here on Monday.

The jeep (5692-LOX) was going to Lahore from Kasur. Near Mustafaabad, it overturned after failing of its tie-rod. Farhan Shoaib and Umar Yousaf of Lahore died on the spot. Heirs of the deceased persons however refused to get the case registered.

KIDNAPPED: A contractor and his father were kidnapped near Babaliana, Raiwind, on Monday.

Ghulam Haider borrowed an amount of Rs300,000 from one Hadayat some time back but could not return the same. On Monday, five armed men, including Saleem, Khalil and Amin, kidnapped Haider and his father at the behest of Hadayat and took them to Lahore.
