QUETTA, April 8: The Balochistan High Court has issued notices to the provincial home secretary, Frontier Corps’ inspector general, Nasirabad district police officer and SHOs of Sui and Dera Bugti in a petition filed by the BHCBA against FC colonel and Dera Bugti DCO in the March 17 firing incident.

The bench comprising Chief Justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmed and Justice Akhtar Zaman Malghani on Thursday ordered to issue notices to respondents to appear before the court on April 21.

Balochistan High Court Bar Association president Amanullah Kanrani had filed a constitutional petition against the Frontier Corps official and Dera Bugti DCO.

The petitioner had also submitted a list of 61 people who died in the firing incident. The petitioner claimed that 28 Bugti tribesmen, 11 Hindus, 3 women and 19 children died in the incident.
