ISLAMABAD, March 12: The autopsy conducted on the body of an Uzbek girl found dead in a local hotel on February 10 suggests that she had died an unnatural death, sources told Dawn on Wednesday.

However, the actual cause of the death has not been specified. The final report will be issued after chemical examiner?s findings are received from Lahore.

The autopsy was conducted by the medico-legal officer of the Federal Government Services Hospital at the District Headquarters Hospital, Rawalpindi.

Specimens of heart and lungs have also been sent to Lahore for histopathology test to find out the possibility of heart attack. High vaginal and perianal swabs were also taken for detection of sperms.

No marks of wounds, cuts, scratch or sign of injection were found on the body.

The sources said the deceased might have died of poisoning, strangulation or over dose of morphine, cocaine or alcohol. If the deceased had been injected with morphine she would have died of suffocation. And if the deceased had used cocaine the cause of death would be cardiac arrest.

The police are still hunting for four persons suspected to be with the Uzbek girl moment before her death, said police sources.

The suspects were alleged to be with the girl in the hotel room where she died. The identification of the men is yet to be ascertained, but one of the accused who booked the room of the hotel had identified himself as Khowaja Siddique, a Kashmiri journalist.

According to the details of the incident, three Uzbek women - Faveda, Catherine and Aliza ? hired a guest house on Airport road on February 10. In the evening, they went to Islamabad in a car (LR-412). After a while, Faveda returned to the guest house.

During investigation, the police came to know that Khowaja Siddique had hired two rooms at Adventure Inn, Islamabad.
