KHAIRPUR, Feb 27: A delegation of Hindu Sadhus from India, led by Sarwan and Swami, paid a visit to the shrine of Sufi poet Sachal Sarmast in Darazaon Sunday evening.

Speaking on the occasion, their representatives said they had brought a message of peace to Pakistan. They added they wanted to disseminate the message of love and peace to bridge differences between the people of India and Pakistan.

They expressed hope that the governments of the two countries would follow the common theme. They said Sufi poets had not only spread a message of peace, brotherhood and solidarity but also acted upon it.

They said the Indus River had been extolled in Hindu scriptures as the holy river. The delegation was warmly welcomed in Daraza by people and Sufi singers who sang various songs for the delegation. Later, the delegation left for Adilpur, Ghotki district.
