Big centres to host Lankans

LAHORE, Dec 21: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) awarded all matches of the home series against Sri Lanka under-19 team to the established Test centres. The Sri Lankan team is touring Pakistan from Dec 31 to Jan 19 to play two four-day and three One-day matches.

All the matches have been allotted to Karachi, Multan and Lahore. A PCB spokesman, however, said that the matches were not allocated to the Northern's Punjab cities due to expected inclement weather in January.

According to the itinerary issued by the PCB, Karachi will host a four-day game at Steel Mills ground and also the third One-dayer at National Stadium. Multan Stadium had also given a four-day and the first One-dayer, while Qadhafi Stadium will hold the second One-dayer.

ITINERARY:

Jan 3-6: Steel Mills Ground, Karachi.

Jan 9-12: Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan.

Jan 14: First One-day, Multan Stadium, Multan.

Jan 16: Second One-day, Qadhafi Stadium, Lahore.

Jan 19: Third One-day, National Stadium, Karachi.
