HYDERABAD, Oct 27: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Hyderabad, on Saturday announced the results of Higher Secondary Certificate Part-I (Class XI) General Science, Pre-Engineering, and Pre-Medical groups annual examinations 2001.

GENERAL SCIENCE: A total of 428 candidates appeared in the examination out of which 413 cleared all their papers. The results of ten students were withheld for various reasons.

PRE-ENGINEERING: A total of 3,298 candidates appeared in the pre-engineering group out of which 3,168 cleared all their papers. The result of 124 students had been withheld for various reasons.

PRE-MEDICAL: A total of 7,042 candidates appeared in the examination out of which 6,833 cleared all their papers. The result of 177 candidates has been withheld for various reasons.

TRANSPORT: The vice chancellor of University of Sindh has constituted a six member committee to ensure the plying of sufficient number of point busses for the students from different parts of Hyderabad City to Jamshoro.

Dr Kazi Khadim Hussain, dean faculty of Arts will be convener while transport officer Habib Iqbal Brohi will be secretary of the committee.
