ISLAMABAD, May 19: Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam on Wednesday said he would make endeavours to take friendship between Pakistan and Brunei to highest levels. The Sultan stated this during a visit to the headquarters of the Special Services Group (SSG) at Cherat.

During the tour, President Gen Pervez Musharraf pinned the badges of rank onto the shoulders of Sultan and presented him with the regimental cap to formally install him as honorary colonel for promoting ties between the armed forces of both the countries.

On the occasion, the SSG personnel displayed their military skills in rock repelling, martial arts, anti-terrorist operations and sky diving.
