ISLAMABAD, April 1: Pakistan Muslim League-Q President Chaudhry Shujat Hussain has ruled out the possibility of an in-house change in near future and denied reports of differences with Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali over cabinet expansion here on Thursday.

Talking to reporters at a dinner reception for the visiting Ugandan delegation, attended by a number of politicians, PML-Q's leader of the parliamentary group said he was lobbying the prime minister for maximum number of seats for his party's members.

Prominent among those who attended the dinner were: Hamid Nasir Chattha, Gohar Ayub Khan, Mushahid Hussain, Neelofar Bakhtiar, Naseer Mengal, Khalil-ur-Rehman, Health Minister Naseer Khan and a number of politicians and members of the National Assembly.

Groups of politicians continued to meet Chaudhry Shujaat at the sidelines in what was viewed as lobbying for a post in the cabinet and the unified front put up by the Muslim League with merger of various factions minus the PML-N.

"Like the MQM, Millat party or others, I want maximum seats for my party men," said Chaudhry Shujat in response to a question about his meetings with the prime minister.

He said he expected to get the maximum number of slots in the expanded cabinet. He did not rule out the possibility of the Functional Muslim League also being given a seat in the cabinet.

About tabling of the National Security Council bill in the National Assembly, Chaudhry Shujaat said it would be tabled in the current session. When asked about the reservations of the MQM over certain clauses of the proposed NSC bill, Chaudhry Shujaat said negotiations were being held with them over the issue.
