KARACHI, Dec 11: One person was killed and three others injured when a long vehicle hit a Suzuki Hi-roof on the Hawkesbay Road on Wednesday.

Sources at the Civil Hospital Karachi and Edhi Foundation said that the Hi-roof was on its way to Hawkesbay when it met with the head-on collision with a trailer. The deceased was identified as Momin, son of Jahanzeb.—APP

Hides snatched

Two bandits snatched 130 hides of sacrificial animals on the first day of Eid in Block B of Federal B Area, adds our staff reporter.

A volunteer of the Balkhi Memorial Trust, Aniqur Rehman Hashmi, reported to the Jauharabad police that he was on his way in a Suzuki pickup loaded with the hides when two motorcyclists intercepted the vehicle and held him and his driver hostage at gunpoint.
