LAHORE, Nov 8: District Coordination Officer Sajjad Ahmed Bhutta has said 2,995 ‘tandoors’ will start selling Rs2 roti from Nov 15.

Announcing this here on Saturday, the DCO said the three-day training of officials for Rs2 roti scheme would begin from Monday.

He said arrangements for the delivery of flour at ‘tandoors’ and the relevant record would be completed before Nov 15. Tandoor owners would be required to keep scales for verification of the ‘roti’ weight, he said and added that only the registered tandoor owners would display the Rs2 roti banner.
