KGA school cricket from tomorrow

KARACHI, Oct 10: Twelve schools will compete for honours in the inaugural Karachi Goan Association (KGA) Ian Fyfe inter-school Twenty20 colour-kit cricket tournament.

The event starts at the KGA Ground from Sunday with BVS School playing South Shore School at 2:00pm.

The tournament is being held in memory of senior sports reporter of Dawn, Ian Fyfe, who died in August 2005 following complications after a road accident.

Participating teams:

BVS High School, Karachi Grammar School, St Paul’s High School, St Patrick’s School, The Lyceum School, South Shore School, Oasys School, Bay View High School, Foundation Public School, City School (Darakhshan Campus), Beacon House (Jubilee Campus), St Michael’s Covent School.
