HYDERABAD, Sept 17: The HRCP Special Task Force, Hyderabad taking notice of forcible possession of land of liberated haris has called upon the authorities to take action as they were living in Hari Camp, Siakranabad, Kotri.

They said that an FIR had been registered against Sudheer at Kotri police station but without any action.

Waseem Abro refuted Sudheer’s allegation and said that the local HRCP office had received many complaints against him. He demanded action against those engaged in criminal activities at hari camp.

Nisar Ahmed Chandio in reply to a question said that the HRCP had submitted many applications against criminals to relevant authorities.

Yet to another, Waseem Abro said that as many as 7,500 liberated haris, including women and children were living at the Sikandarabad hari camp while working as labourers. He said authorities had failed in making efforts for rehabilitating the liberated haris on permanent basis.
