Robbers shoot passerby

SHEIKHUPURA, July 31: One person was killed while his friend sustained critical bullet injuries when five highway robbers intercepted them near Kiampur village in the jurisdiction of Saddar police on Thursday evening and opened fire.

Abdul Kareem, a resident of Jang district, along with his friend Imran Shah was going to Kiampur when the highway robbers tried to stop their motorcycle.

When they put up resistance, the outlaws opened fire, killing Kareem on the spot.
