Four killed in Swat

MINGORA, June 28: Four people were killed in the Kabal tehsil of Swat on Saturday.

Swat district police officer Waqif Khan told Dawn that unidentified gunmen killed three people and threw their bodies in a dry nullah in the Kala Kalley area. He said the deceased, Ali Akbar, Usman and Saifullah, were wanted by police in some murder cases. Another man was beheaded in Sair Senai area.

Meanwhile, the bomb disposal squad defused three bombs planted by unidentified people in the College Chowk in Matta.

In another incident, two people sustained serious injuries when a gas cylinder exploded in Matta.
