Four kidnapped

SHIKARPUR, June 20: Four people were kidnapped along with their car by a group of armed men from the Garhi Yasin area on Friday.

Maqsood Ahmed, Imran, Sohail and Tariq, all Odho by caste and residents of Shutti Drib village, Garhi Yasin taluka, were on way to Ratodero in a car when kidnapped on Garhi Yasin-Ratodero Indus Highway near Garhi Yasin.

Police went after the kidnappers.

Meanwhile, trucks and other vehicles were looted by a group of highwaymen near Rahimabad Laaro on Indus Highway in the jurisdiction of Khanpur police station, early on Friday.
