NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, June 4: The Daur police of Nawabshah district raided two houses in Kandiaro, Naushahro Feroze district for recovery of a newly-married couple and arrested three relatives, on Tuesday.

A team of Daur police headed by In-charge Iqbal Wassan raided the houses of Mohammad Saleh Mallah and Jan Mohammad Mallah and Baban Shah of Shahbaz Colony, Kandiaro.

Police entered the two houses and enquired about the newly-wed couple Aisha Mallah of Daur, and Ashiq Mallah of Kandiaro and on failing to find them arrested their three relatives Mohammad Saleh Mallah, Naveed and Ghulam Abbas Mallah.

A relative of Ashiq Mallah said that Aisha and Ashiq married of their will 15 days ago. They complained that Daur police had entered their houses and insulted women.

When contacted, Kandiaro police confirmed that the Daur police had raided for recovery of Aisha and Ashiq.

BOOKED: Fifteen persons were booked on the charge of being involved in a clash in Mohammad Khan Agro village, on Tuesday.

Mohbat Dero police registered an FIR on the complaint of a peasant of landlord Nadeem Agro who stated that 15 armed men of Khushik community entered the Otaq of his landlord and after beating tried to kidnap him.

The complainant stated in the FIR that villagers after capturing four persons handed them over to police.

The accused told reporters that they were supplied electricity from Mohammad Khan Agro village and its residents again and again were disconnecting their supply by removing wire. On Tuesday, when they went to connect the wire and restore the power, the complainant party after beating handed them over to the police on false allegations.
