JACOBABAD, June 1: Two suspected robbers were arrested by the City police from the Bhitai Bazaar on Sunday.

According to police, Niaz Ahmed and Manzoor Ahmed were standing outside the house of a doctor. Police on suspicion frisked them and recovered two TT pistols from their possession.

Police arrested them and locked them up in the City police station.

However, no FIR has been registered till the filing of this report.

OMBUDSMAN OFFICE: The regional office of the provincial ombudsman started working near the PIA Office on Station Road here on Saturday.

Regional director of the ombudsman’s office, Gul Hassan Solangi, told journalists the office would receive complaints of provincial government servants and general public and would dispose these of in accordance with the law.
