Two women killed by landmine

QUETTA, May 30: Two women were killed and another woman and a constable were injured by a landmine in Kohlu on Friday.

Official sources said three nomad women and a man were collecting firewood in the outskirts of the Kohlu township when one of them hit the landmine.

The deceased were identified as Shahli, 41, and her 14-year-old daughter Seema.

The injured, constable Jamal Marri and Hato Bibi, were taken to a hospital.

Meanwhile, a hand grenade was hurled on the house of one Mohammad Rafiq on the Ahmed Shah Street of the Huda area.
