Two hurt in clash at Kulana

OKARA, May 19: Two persons were injured seriously in an armed clash between tenants of the Kulana Estate and its allottees at Chak 28A/2-R on Monday.

Reports said that the crossfire started suddenly between the tenants and allottees that left two persons injured. One of the injured, Abdul Majid, was shifted to a Lahore hospital in a critical condition. Anjuman Mozareen Punjab (AMP) president Malik Saleem Jakkhar said that tenant Zahid Khan also sustained bullet injuries.

Both rivals groups were accusing each other for initiating fire.

Satgrah SHO Mehmood Gujjar said that police had encircled the troubled village to avoid further violence. — Correspondent
