Pakistani contingent for Iran

ISLAMABAD, Oct 23: A 44-strong Pakistan contingent leaves for Iran in the small hours of Wednesday to participate in the third Islamic Women Solidarity Games.

Pakistan will compete in athletes, swimming, table tennis and badminton in the Games being held from Oct 25 to Nov 5 at Ajman (Iran).

Balochistan Minister Roshan Khurshid is leading the contingent as Chef De Mission.

The following players will represent Pakistan. Irum Khanum, Saira Afzal, Bushra Perveen, Samera Zahoor, Shabana Khattak, Noshi Perveen, Bazigha Ali, Zeenat Perveen, Tasleem Fatima, Gulnaz Ara (athletics), Nazli Noor, Asima Butt, Uzma Butt, Aasia Ikram, Shazia Noreen, Luwaiza Ali (badminton), Kiran Khan, Sana Wahid, Aisha Tajwar, Mahira Karim, Sana Khan, Mehvish Naveed Reema Qureshi (swimming), Ghazala Roohi, Shabnam Bilal, Naila Anjum (table tennis).—APP
