Enmity claims two lives

SUKKUR, May 17: Two people were killed and one injured by armed people in Garhi Khairo town and police station limits over an old enmity on Friday.

According to reports, a group of armed men after raiding the village began indiscriminate firing resulting in the death of Rabail Mugheri and Gul Mohammad Kumbhar on the spot and inflicting injuries to Alam Shah. Assailants managed to flee from the scene.

Area people claimed Shahliani-Buledi dispute as the reason for murder. The dispute was started seven years ago over a piece of land and so far had claimed 10 lives from both tribes with many injured.

No case was registered.
