SUKKUR, May 17: A woman was strangled to death by her husband over karo-kari in Sachal Bachkani village in “B” section police station jurisdiction, Kandhkot on Saturday.
According to reports, accused Nadir Bachkani suspected his wife Hakeeman Khatoon of having illicit relations with someone in the area. Today after exchanging hot words on the issue he strangled his wife and fled.
Area police shifted the body to hospital for post-mortem but no case was registered.
Meanwhile, teenaged boy was crushed to death by a tractor trolley near New Bus Stand situated in “A” section police station jurisdiction Kandhkot on Saturday.
Reports said Bahauddin s/o Hakim while crossing the road was overrun by a speedy tractor trolley. He died on the spot.
Area police had arrested tractor driver Khair Bux Pathan and impounded his vehicle.
