KARACHI: Two ST men injured

KARACHI, May 15: Two activists of the Sunni Tehrik were injured in a clash with the activists of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement in Bhorapir area on Thursday.

Skirmishes between the two groups started when some activists of the Sunni Tehrik broke into one of their closed sector offices in Bhorapir area in the early hours of Thursday. Police said that action of ST activists resulted in an intermittent exchange of fire with Muttahida activists that continued for several hours during which two ST men were injured.

Contingents of police force reached the spot to control the situation. However, police failed to make any arrests from the scene. The two injured activists were shifted to the Civil Hospital where they had been admitted for treatment.
