LARKANA, May 3: Three armed assailants on Saturday shot dead a man, Khadim Hussain Chandio, in village Gulab Magsi located in the jurisdiction of Khabar police station over a matrimonial dispute while a mentally handicapped man killed a woman in Qambar town.

Rafique Chandio, the son of the deceased, lodged an FIR claiming that Dili Jan, Mumtaz Ali and Ghulam Hussain had killed his father.

Police so far made no arrest.

In another incident Yusuf Chandio claimed that a mentally handicapped man had killed his wife, Raheela, in a locality of Qambar town and escaped.

In another incident over a dozen armed men stormed the autaq (meeting place) and the house of a landlord, Ghous Bakhsh Panhwar, in village Yaro Dero near Wagan town and after overpowering people there kidnapped his guest, Jamil Ahmed Panhwar, a student of class tenth.

Police have launched investigations.
