Three of family killed

GUJRANWALA, April 29: A man, his wife and a son were shot dead and another son and a daughter were injured by their relatives over a domestic issue in Aulakh village near Alipur Chattha on Tuesday.

Ashraf, his wife Maqsooda, sons Ehsan Ahmad and Zakaullah and daughter Shagufta were sitting in the compound of their house when about six of their relatives came to their house, exchanged words with them and later opened fire on them.

As a result, Ashraf, Maqsooda and one of their sons were killed at the scene, while a son and the daughter were injured. The attackers also belong to the same village.

Alipur Chattha police have registered a case against the accused and arrested Gulzar Ahmad. — Correspondent
