Midwife shot dead

GHALLANAI, April 18: A midwife was killed in Bautha village in Lakaro tehsil of the Mohmand Agency on Thursday.

Nihar Begum of Shahbaz Garhi in Mardan district had been working in the village dispensary for about a year.

Her body was brought to the Agency Headquarters Hospital and later sent to her native village.

Meanwhile, suspected Taliban militants set on fire a camp of the Khasadar force in Mail area of Haleemzai.— Correspondent
