NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, April 17: The additional sessions judge of Kandiaro issued non-bailable arrest warrants against former SHO of Kandiaro in two cases after cancelling his application for bail here on Thursday.

The sessions judge Khwaja Asif issued the orders against the former police official Inayat Qureshi for his failure to attend hearing of cases in the court.

In one case the complainant had accused the former SHO of picking up a boy Aamir Rajpar from Salah Rajpar village in August 2006 and subjecting him to torture over a petty dispute at Shah Jamal police picket. Police who claimed to have found a single barrel gun in his possession told journalists that the accused was involved in murders and robbery. Reliable sources claimed that the accused had been arrested a week ago but police had disclosed his arrest on Thursday.
