Two kidnapped

THATTA, April 5: Bandits kidnapped two men when they were sitting at an Otaq (guesthouse) in a banana orchard here on Saturday, leaving behind a chit, which said they wanted Rs500,000, five Rado watches and five silk turbans as ransom for the release hostages.

Reports said that a gang of bandits raided the Otaq of a landlord Chaudhry Liaquat and kidnapped his manager Abid Punjabi of Narowal and his servant Manthar Brohi.

SPO Aftab Nizamani went after the kidnappers with a heavy contingent of police after he was informed of the kidnapping.
