QUETTA, April 3: An Accountability Court on Thursday allowed the National Accountability Bureau to withdraw corruption cases against two PPP and one PML-Q leaders.

Judge Chaudhry Mohammad Ashraf accepted the submission of prosecutor of NAB Balochistan Syed Raiz Mansoor Shah to withdraw the cases against Senate deputy chairman Mir Jan Mohammad Jamali of the PML-Q and former federal minister Mir Baz Mohammad Khetran and former provincial minister Bismiullah Khan Kakar of the PPP.

The cases relating to misuse of government funds are being withdrawn under the National Reconciliation Ordinance promulgated by President Pervez Musharraf last year.
