SANGHAR: House robbery

SANGHAR, April 3: A gang of dacoits looted gold, cash and mobile phones worth Rs3 million from a house, on Thursday.

One of the eight dacoits knocked the door of Ghulam Hussain Memon, a retired stenographer in the SSP office. When the door opened they overpowered house inmates and began collecting the valuable they could find during the hour they were inside.

They collected around one kilo worth of gold ornaments, cash, expensive watches and other articles. The dacoits were armed with guns and TT pistols.

Police had detained the domestic servant Molchand. Sanghar police were investigating the case. —Correspondent
