‘Suicide bomber’ arrested

MANSEHRA, March 31: Security forces arrested on Monday night a suspected suicide bomber from a place near the Shawal Najif Army Camp. They also claimed to have seized explosives.

According to sources, the burqa-clad man, 20 to 25 years old, was trying to enter an area where a large number of army troops had been deployed since the 2005’s earthquake.

However, police officials told this correspondent that the arrested man, identified as Saqib of Baffa area, was going there to meet his girlfriend who lived near the camp.
