ISLAMABAD, March 29: The city police are desperately in search of three alleged militants who harassed a 7th class student and tried to use him in carrying out terrorist activities on his school premises.

Three persons riding in silver colour Sedan car, which parked near the school came out from the vehicle and intercepted the student of FG Boys Secondary School Rawal Dam when he reached the educational institute.

The persons tried to hand over a remote control or mobile looking device to the boy and asked him to connect wires of the gadget after entering the school building. They also offered a reward of his desire after the competition of the task.

However, he refused to obey the direction, which drove the culprits in anger. First they threatened the boy with dire consequences and later started slapping him. As a result the boy started shouting for help and on hearing his screaming a passerby rushed to his rescue, which forced the culprits to escape from the scene.

The frightened boy instead of going to school ran towards his home. The boy narrated the incident to his father when he asked the reason of his return. Later the father took the boy to school and told the episode to the principal of the school.

Shahzad Town police registered a case against the suspects on the complaint of the boy on charges of PPC 342: Punishment for wrongful confinement, PPC 506 Punishment for criminal intimidation and 4/6 Explosive Act.

The police said that the car bearing fake number plate IDH- 43, which was originally allotted to a Peugeot car.

They said that different departments of police including Anti Terrorist Squad were working on it to trace the suspects.

The victim is too young and is not able to identify the make and model of the vehicle, the police said, adding, that he was also not able to describe the appearance and accent of the three persons.

Earlier the culprits targeted the boy to establish good and friendly relationship and in this regard they offered sweets and toffees to him, police said.
