TOBA TEK SINGH, March 18: The Kamalia police claimed on Tuesday to have arrested a robber belonging to Gujrat.

Accused Imran killed a villager for resisting robbery at Adda Kalaira a few weeks ago. Deputy Superintendent of Police Munawar Bhatti said the accused had given the police names of his accomplices and raids were in progress for their arrest.

LAWYERS’ STRIKE: The district bar association observed one-hour strike on Tuesday on the call of the Pakistan Bar Council.
