Man kills brother’s wife

ATTOCK, March 17: A man shot dead wife of his brother over a utility bills dispute in Fateh Jhang on Sunday evening.

According to police, wives of two brothers exchanged hot words over depositing of electricity and gas bills. On this, Iqbal allegedly shot dead Kosar Bibi, wife of his brother, and escaped from the scene. She died on the spot, the police said.

The police have registered a case against the accused and started investigations.

GAMBLERS HELD: The Basal police arrested here on Monday five alleged gamblers including Muhammad Ejaz, Zafar Iqbal and Abdul Rehman in two different raids at Pindsultani and Domail villages and recovered a cash amount and mobile phones from their possession.
