The government on Friday withdrew a house-arrest order for PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto, a senior interior ministry official said.
“It has been withdrawn,” interior secretary Kamal Shah told AFP.
He said Ms Bhutto was placed under house-arrest early in the day, blocking her attempt to lead the PPP rally.
