Umpires clinic from March 29

LAHORE, March 21: The National Umpires Clinic will be organised here from March 29 to April 7 in conjunction with the final round of the National Hockey Championship.

Secretary, PHF, Brig Musarratullah Khan said the clinic is a part of the PHF development plan to groom the technical officials and aims at imparting latest knowledge.

He said the International Hockey Federation has detailed a course conductor who will evaluate the performance of the participants for grading. He will be assisted by Iqbal Bali, the local coordinator.

Rashad Mahmood Butt, Faiz Muhammad Faizi, Muhammad Asif, Iftikhar Ahmad, Jamil Butt, Zulfiqar Haider, Haider Rasool, Shahzad Mahmood, Zulfiqar Hussain, Kamran Shah, Mahmood Anwar Dar, Farid Ansari, Noman Zaidi, Dilawar Bhatti, Rana Muhammad Liaqat, Ubaid ur Rehman, Anwar Kamal, Tanveer Arshad, Mohsin Ali Khan, Ihsan ul Haque, Nigar Hussain, Takrim Iftikhar, Pervez Akhtar, Lt Col Rashid and Ghufran Bukhari.— APP
