Three killed in accident

RAWALPINDI, Dec 31: Three members of a family were killed when an oil tanker fell into a deep ditch in Karot, about 45km from Kahuta on Sunday.

The accident occurred as the oil tanker tried to negotiate a turn to give way to a car coming from the opposite direction.

As a result, Mohammad Bashir, Khurshid and Mohammad Sadiq died on the spot, while the injured driver was shifted to hospital in Rawalpindi.—Online
