3 Pakistanis executed

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 21: Kuwait authorities on Tuesday hanged four people, two of them Pakistanis, who were convicted of murder and drug trafficking.

The two Pakistanis — Taj Muhammad and Abdul Rahim —were charged with drug trafficking. Both convicts who belonged to Bara were arrested in 2004.

The two others identified as Jehangir Alam s/o Amir Hussain, a Bangladeshi and Faraj Jodah s/o Daif Majoud, a stateless resident were convicted for murder.

S. ARABIA: Saudi Arabia executed a Nigerian and a Pakistani on Tuesday for drugs offences, adds AFP.

Hamza Yousef from Nigeria had been convicted of smuggling cocaine and Ijaz Khan, a Pakistani, had been convicted of receiving smuggled hashish. Both men were put to death in Makkah.
