HYDERABAD, March 9: Activists of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) held a demonstration outside the press club on Thursday in protest against arrest of the secretary general of the party, Dr Safdar Sarki.

Speaking on the occasion, Murtaza Mughal, Dhani Bux Abro, Akash Mallah and Fazal Memon said that Dr Sarki was being held incommunicado for the last 15 days and his whereabouts were unknown.

They feared that he might have been killed by the agencies.

They said that an operation had been launched against the followers of late G.M. Syed. They demanded that Dr Sarki be immediately released.

DADU: Activists of the JSSF took out a procession here on Thursday in protest against arrest of Dr Sarki, central secretary of the JSQM.

Dr Jabbar Babbar and Sarfaraz Korejo led the protesters.

They demanded early release of Dr Safdar Sarki.

SHIKARPUR: Activists of the JSQM observed a token hunger strike to protest against detention of JSQM’s Dr Sarki at Lakhi Gate tower chowk here on Thursday.

They demanded early release of Safdar Sarki and withdrawal of cases against him.
