Ismail new PTTF secretary

KARACHI, Dec 31: Mifta Ismail, a former local player, on Saturday took over as secretary, Pakistan Table Tennis Federation (PTTF), after his nomination was endorsed by the executive committee and general body of the federation which met in the city.

The incumbent has replaced former international, Javed Chotani, who has expressed his inability to continue.

The meeting also inducted Dr. Yasmeen Rashid (Punjab) and Perveen Minwala (Sindh) as lady members of the PTTF executive committee as per policy of the POA.

Presided over by PTTF president, S. M. Sibtain, the two meetings were attended by Mifta Ismail, Javed Chotani, Saleem Ahmed, Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, Kifayatullah, Khalid Mahmood, Irshad Syed, Shamsuddin, Iftikhar-ul-Haq, and Haji Ihsanul Haq.

Rashid Nabi Malik, chairman PTTF rules board, and Shaukat Omeri attended the meetings as observers.
